About me

“Love doesn’t just sit there, like a stone, it has to be made, like bread; remade all the time, made new.” – Ursula K. Le Guin

Our relationships to each other (and ourselves) are dynamic and important, and can sometimes feel confusing, out of sync, or distressing. As a therapist, I am passionate about sitting alongside people as they practice new ways of noticing, understanding, and functioning inside their relationships. Guided by attachment theory, my work helps to make sense of how current difficult relational cycles are often shaped by past attachment wounds. We will work together to identify and examine coping strategies that once kept you safe, but now may not be serving you in your adult relationships.

I also enjoy working with individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, teenagers, and adults. Utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques to support people with anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, bipolar disorder, or shame –I will meet you where you are. I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families encountering life transitions, helping to increase connection, understanding, and resilience.

Additionally, I love working with folks who are exploring sexuality, struggling with sexual dysfunction, low libido, mismatched libido, or experiencing hormonal sexual changes due to pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, menopause, or medical gender transition. I am queer-affirming, sex-positive, kink-friendly, and offer anti-bias care to everyone.

Leading with warmth, a strengths-based approach, and a collaborative style, I also love supporting clients with post-assessment executive function coaching. I get very excited about honing organizational systems tailored to what motivates you, and co-creating and working towards your unique goals.

Before I became a therapist, I was an early childhood educator. I found myself deeply drawn to supporting families in the many challenges, joys, and transitions during that season of life. In my time away from work, I am playing with my kids, partner and friends, and hopefully swimming in the ocean. I find joy in my garden, at the thrift store, and doing yoga. I am an (almost) Durham native, and truly love living here.
